The CEU Scorpions Basketball Team ended its last game for this year with a bang, beating the newcomer Guang Ming College-Tagaytay, 116-48, in the 5th PG FLEX Linoleum-Universities and Colleges Basketball League (UCBL) on Monday.
Ayodeji Balogun, the Best Player of the Game, led the unbeaten Scorpions with 26 points and 16 rebounds in a little over 23 minutes of play.
The team posted the largest winning margin of 68 points in the league, surpassing the 64-point lead of PCU-Dasmariñas versus LPU-Batangas on December 8.
In the meantime, the tournament will take a three-week holiday break starting Tuesday, December 20, and will continue next year on January 9.
