To celebrate World Mental Health Week, Escolarians gathered at the Lower Student Activity Center (SAC) on Monday, Oct. 23, to raise awareness about the negative impacts of hazing on individuals, groups, and institutions as a whole, while engaging students in activities aiming to enhance their mental well-being through positivity and self-care.

The three-day event featured various activities and showcases, including awareness campaign exhibits and interactive booths.

On its final day, a webinar titled “Paddle Me Not – One Big Escolarian Fight Against Hazing” was held to educate students on the dangers of hazing.

The campaign was led by the Guidance and Counseling Department in partnership with the Student Affairs Office (SAO), Peer Facilitators Group, and the University Student Council (USC).

The event lasted for three days, which began last Monday and ended on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
