Centro Escolar University Scorpions won against the Diliman College Blue Dragons, 74-61, defending their championship crown at the Universities and Colleges Athletics League (UCAL) PG-Flex Linoleum Season 6, Monday, March 18, at the Paco Arena.

A strong start was made by the CEU Scorpions as they were already accomplishing multiple three-point shots just a few minutes in the game, establishing their lead. However, the DC Blue Dragons were able to sneak in some shots, turning the table at the end of the first quarter.

Despite these swift offenses by the opponent, the Scorpions continued their powerful game plays that paved the way for them to score more points for the team in the second half, earning a back-to-back win in the said league.

Finals MVP Daniel Marcelo, who scored 23 points with 7 rebounds and 2 assists, became teary-eyed with joy as the game concluded in their favor.

When asked about the next season, he stated that he looks forward to relaxing after the league and that he’s excited to play with his teammates again next season.

In an interview, Coach Jeffrey Perlas expresses his utmost respect for Diliman College and appreciation for the CEU Scorpions’ team and staff.
